This is the House That Bob Built

When Bob Roberts told us that a house would be built for us, we were clueless of what the undertaking of this project entailed.  Honestly, I don’t even know to the full extent the weight and extra burden this house project put on Bob.  This I do know: from the fighting for funding through the last finish detail, Bob has overseen it all.  Many days he had work torn out or redone, because it was not done right.  Always he shopped for the best deals, but insisted on quality that would last.  Not only were the workers paid, but they also had to be housed here.  Yes, Aubrey drew the plans, but Bob made it all reality.  The work was started a year ago with the clearing of the land.  The workers at aviation have also spent many hours, bringing it all together.  Bob and Jan live in a house that is over 60 years old.  They should be the ones in a new home.  Yet, they have honored us with this delight.  Pictures say more then a thousand words.  I have yet to hang pictures and all the curtains are not finished….but I know you are anxious to see.  Our hearts are rejoicing to be home at last.  We are blessed beyond measure.  Enjoy the pictures from the house that Bob built!  Thank you, Bob.

We also have a large enclosed porch (where the washer/dryer is) and an office (that is still a mess, so you are not invited to peep). : )  It is amazing to be “home” at last.  I have had fun unpacking all the boxes.  Some of the stuff has brought such delight…..mainly little treasures from the past.  Some of the stuff, I wonder why we brought it?!?  We love our western toilets and water that flows out of a shower head, along with a kitchen sink and two bathroom sinks.  We love having a place and room to get out all our stuff that has been tucked away the last year and a half.   Our cup run’s over.
