Taco Bell Sauce, New Wives, Team Work, Roses and Charcoal

We are ninty percent recovered from our "welcome to Indonesia" bug.  Many people have asked "What kind of medicines did you use?"  Charcoal tablets.  They are sold locally.  Called "Norit".  I will not leave home without them from now on.  For those of you who work at Siskin, I am curious what Dr Bowers thinks of charcoal?! : )  Charcoal is  known for its ability to absorb toxins and many other uses.........  more on that later.
My dear husband came home from the market on Sunday with not only fruit and Norit, but also fresh roses!  Now it is not like he walked up to a check out stand at some known store but had to bargain in another language for those flowers.  He paid 15,000 rupiah.  I'll let you do the math!  (8,200 Rp per $1)  They are beautiful and have refreshed my spirit.
In order for us to be gone from the house 7 hours a day in realtionship to school and then if we have homework, or errands, cleaning/cooking, it has taken real team work to pull all of this off.  Darron has been a tremendous help to me.  Daily he is helping to do dishes, bathing little boys, etc. etc.   Today we checked again on getting a house helper and have finally come to some conclusions on why this was not coming together sooner.  We think it is because Darron went on his own to ask for help for me.....but translated it probably sounded like he was asking for a houseworker to be his wife instead of to "help his wife".  Oppps!  Not the first, or the last mistake we will make!!!!! :  )  LOL!
We ate Chilli today for lunch (a test on our new improved tummies).  Taco Bell mild sauce from America made it extra tasty.  We had a lively discussion on the messages written on the outside of those packets.  They took on new meaning.  "Have your people call my people."  To us this said, "Don't forget us, keep writing....have your kids, write my kids".  Another packet "Saying goodbye is the hardest part of this job."  Now that needs no intrepretation.  "Guess it's just you and me now."  As we looked around the table at each other....we kind of felt this way. "Don't throw me under a bus."  Yeah....we say.  If you ever get tempted to chuck your taco bell sauce packets away, please don't! : )  We will come and get them from you on annual leave.  "We could all use a little squeeze now and then."  Isn't that true for all of us?
So for taco bell sauce, new wives, team work, roses and charcoal.....that is the latest update from this side of the globe!  Courage to all of you who feel stretched.  Many of you have written saying you are being stretched too.....my prayers are with you.
